**WE ARE EXPANDING OUR TEAM**

Remote work, with mandatory in-person onboarding training.

Under the supervision of the Supervisor – Commercial Services, you will be responsible for preparing quotations according to customers’ technical and commercial requirements. More specifically, you will:

  • Receive and qualify requests from agents, contractors or consulting engineers (budget or firm bids);
  • Advise customers on the technical characteristics of the products to be used;
  • Provide quotations for Slide Gates supply projects;
  1. Detailed analysis of drawings and specifications to define products and determine exceptions (Take-off).
  2. Product cost calculations (using available software).
  3. Manual, custom costing of special products.
  4. Establish sell prices according to established pricing policies and strategy.
  5. Coordinate sales strategy with sales manager and agent when required.
  6. Obtain management approval when required for larger projects.
  • Obtain and negotiate actuator prices as required;
  • Quote parts for existing Slide Gates;
  • Ensure quotation deadlines are met;
  • Negotiate prices, lead times and other conditions to obtain orders;
  • Calculate and confirm agent commissions on orders;
  • Review terms and conditions of orders received for contract signature;
  • On occasion, obtain drawings and specifications and research projects using available systems (Dodge Network or other);
  • Contribute actively to the development of the organization, with respect and constant communication within the entire organization.

Exchanges with customers are mainly in writing, including the sending of documents. The vast majority of our activities take place outside Quebec, in English. Existing templates are available for messages, as well as electronic translation tools to facilitate the comprehension and quality of communications.

Know-How Required

Skills We Are Looking For

  • Relevant technical training in mechanical, civil or construction engineering.
  • Minimum two years’ relevant work experience, or more depending on education background.
  • Good knowledge of reading mechanical and civil plans.
  • Good level of English (spoken and written).
  • Knowledge of MS-Office software.
