Job Summary and Main Responsabilities

The laborer demonstrates great versatility and a sense of autonomy to actively participate in production operations and ensure that the work environment remains clean. The laborer also assists colleagues in completing tasks to ensure the smooth running of production.

  • Operate basic production equipment without specific measures, which is repetitive and involves several manual operations;
  • Operate various non-digital machines (e.g., press, conventional machine, welding robot);
  • Drive a forklift and use an overhead crane as needed;
  • Handle housekeeping tasks, collect chips and sweep the aisles, clean the machines if they are stopped, etc.;
  • Work closely with members of different departments;
  • Perform all tasks safely and according to existing procedures;
  • Comply with ISO procedures and processes;
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the workspace;
  • Perform any other related tasks.

  • Demonstrates good organizational skills, rigor, and a good work method, while maintaining a good execution speed and being attentive to the quality of their work;

Skills We Are Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience;
  • Good knowledge of the French language (spoken and written);
  • Basic math skills;
  • Good physical ability;
  • Forklift operation (an asset)

What We Offer

  • Work location: 20, route de Windsor, Sherbrooke, QC, Canada, J1C 0E5;
  • Work schedule: 40-hour schedule from Monday to Friday. Possibility of working 4 ½ days;
  • Salary: $21.85/hour;
  • Vacation: Two (2) weeks of vacation;
  • Paid leave: 7 paid working days during the holiday shutdown;
