Job Summary and Main Responsabilities
- Ensure the application of the collective agreement and OHS regulations while contributing to the maintenance of good working relations;
- Evaluation of production employees in collaboration with the human resources department;
- Maintains discipline and monitors the interpretation and application of company regulations;
- Controls staff overtime and all absences;
- Controls time management and production functions;
- Forwards all correspondence intended for employee files to the human resources department;
- Coordinate all departmental activities in order to obtain maximum efficiency and productivity;
- Monitor daily developments of production activities by project;
- Ensures production and delivery deadlines are respected;
- Provides suggestions to the general manager for improving production quality standards;
- Controls the performance of each production department and ensures that the level of quality in production is optimal;
- Keeps up to date with technical progress and actively participates in improving products and manufacturing processes;
- Participates in production meetings, the labor relations committee and the health and safety committee;
- Participates in continuous improvement projects.
