Ensure the application of the collective agreement and OHS regulations while contributing to the maintenance of good working relations;
Evaluation of production employees in collaboration with the human resources department;
Maintains discipline and monitors the interpretation and application of company regulations;
Controls staff overtime and all absences;
Controls time management and production functions;
Forwards all correspondence intended for employee files to the human resources department;
Coordinate all departmental activities in order to obtain maximum efficiency and productivity;
Monitor daily developments of production activities by project;
Ensures production and delivery deadlines are respected;
Provides suggestions to the general manager for improving production quality standards;
Controls the performance of each production department and ensures that the level of quality in production is optimal;
Keeps up to date with technical progress and actively participates in improving products and manufacturing processes;
Participates in production meetings, the labor relations committee and the health and safety committee;
Participates in continuous improvement projects.
