Job Summary and Main Responsabilities
- Supervise production operations to ensure quality, safety and productivity of the team;
- Communicate regularly with other supervisors, team leaders and employees to resolve problems and improve processes;
- Train employees to effectively perform their duties and develop their skills;
- Ensure approval of time worked, leave/absence/vacation and disciplinary management;
- Manage team work schedules to ensure they are aligned with production goals and business needs.
- Evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback to improve productivity and work quality;
- Resolve conflicts and issues with employees in an effective and professional manner;
- Participate in the continuous improvement of processes and procedures to improve quality and productivity;
- Enforce company policies and procedures and ensure the team follows safety and quality rules;
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure product safety and quality;
- Perform any other duties as assigned by production management or the company
Know-How Required
- Knowledge of plan reading (an asset);
- Excellent communication skills;
- Excellent communication skills; Demonstrate strong leadership and teamwork skills;
- Good time management and priority setting skills;
- Strong problem solving skills
Skills We Are Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years experience supervising staff in a manufacturing environment;
- Experience in the metal industry;
