The Quality Inspector is responsible for monitoring ad verifying the quality of products during production by performing visual and dimensional inspections of parts. They are also responsible for approving documents and drafting the related reports. Finally, they work in collaboration with the Quality Assurance Supervisor and managers to maintain the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard.

• Interpret and understand the technical drawings in order to check the parts with the appropriate measuring instruments;
• Complete inspection and test plans according to customer expectations;
• Check the parts according to sampling methods, as required on the inspection and test plans. Stop the work in progress when detecting a problem;
• Maintain up-to-date quality reports, such as: first part, qualification, non-conformity;
• Act as a reference for the detection of non-compliance, compliance with parts verification methods, problem solving and continuous improvement of processes;
• Work closely with the Quality Assurance Supervisor regarding noted discrepancies related to specifications and tolerances;
• Perform the calibration, maintenance and updating of the register of precision measuring instruments;
• Work in collaboration with the Quality Assurance Supervisor to ensure the maintenance and compliance of the quality system in application in the company (ISO 9001);
• Ensure strict compliance with the quality and safety standards set in the performance of all its responsibilities;
• Perform other tasks within his competence as needed or at the request of his immediate superior.
