Job Summary and Main Responsibilities

The Quality Coordinator, specializing in the metal transformation sector, ensures that the company’s products and processes meet established quality standards, with emphasis on the control of metal manufacturing processes. He/she supervises the Quality Inspector, ensures the conformity of finished products, and collaborates with the production and methods departments to optimize quality standards. More precisely, he/she must:

  • Be responsible for implementing a quality control system for production parts.
  • Know the steps involved in the integration of a new product in production to meet customer requirements and specifications (PPAP).
  • Participate in inspecting raw materials, manufacturing processes, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 norm.
  • Manage, educate, and train on quality standards.
  • Ensure deadlines and priorities are met.
  • Identify manufacturing defects, analyze their root causes, and recommend corrective solutions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with production teams.
  • Carry out internal audits and participate in external audits related to compliance with ISO 9001 norm.
  • Monitor regulations and standards in the metal processing sector.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on quality performance and non-conformities (KPIs).
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of procedures, and quality controls.
  • Work in collaboration with Supervisors to resolve quality issues.
  • Actively participate in team meetings.
