The valve assembler installs components and seals on wall-mounted valves and ensures that the product performs properly. Occasionally, they assist the shipping department. Their tasks include:
Reading and interpreting manufacturing plans;
Assembling metal valve parts and seals;
Conducting leak tests;
Operating lifting equipment;
Moving parts using a cart;
Inspecting manufactured parts, both visually and using measuring instruments, to validate their quality and compliance.
Know-How Required
Communication skills, leadership, and good team spirit
Ability to adapt to a context of continuous improvement
Good physical condition (loads to be lifted can sometimes reach 40 pounds)
Intellectual curiosity,
Versatility and autonomy
Skills We Are Looking For
High school diploma (an asset).
Experience reading blueprints.
Valid forklift operator’s license (an asset).
