Job Summary and Main Responsibilities

The valve assembler installs components and seals on wall-mounted valves and ensures that the product performs properly. Occasionally, they assist the shipping department. Their tasks include:

  • Reading and interpreting manufacturing plans;
  • Assembling metal valve parts and seals;
  • Conducting leak tests;
  • Operating lifting equipment;
  • Moving parts using a cart;
  • Inspecting manufactured parts, both visually and using measuring instruments, to validate their quality and compliance.

Know-How Required

  • Communication skills, leadership, and good team spirit
  • Ability to adapt to a context of continuous improvement
  • Good physical condition (loads to be lifted can sometimes reach 40 pounds)
  • Intellectual curiosity,
  • Versatility and autonomy

Skills We Are Looking For

  • High school diploma (an asset).
  • Experience reading blueprints.
  • Valid forklift operator’s license (an asset).
