Job Summary and Main Responsibilities

The Welder is able to independently understand and interpret drawings and is capable of performing both assembly and welding duties for the various types of parts we manufacture, with minimal supervision.

  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings;
  • Weld various steel components using the required welding processes;
  • Operate lifting equipment and tools used to form and assemble parts;
  • Inspect produced parts visually and using measuring instruments to validate quality and compliance;
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times;
  • Perform any other related duties.

  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a structured work approach, while maintaining a good work pace and being attentive to the quality of work performed;
  • Demonstrates versatility and strong potential for growth and development;
  • Demonstrates safe work practices in the performance of duties.

 

Skills We Are Looking For

  • Vocational diploma (DEP) in Welding or Welding-Assembly;
  • Experience in MIG welding (GMAW);
  • Ability to interpret drawings and perform welds in compliance with specifications;
  • Ability to interpret various welding symbols;
  • Good understanding of welding parameters and their effects;
  • Valid forklift operator card (an asset).
