The Abrasive Blasting Operator cleans pre-welded parts. He works in the abrasive blasting room, wearing protective equipment (including helmet with air supply).
Tasks include :
Abrasive blasting various small and large parts (up to 10′ x 10′);
Prepare parts for blasting using overhead cranes, jib cranes or forklift trucks;
Clean the room;
Perform basic maintenance on equipment related to abrasive blasting operations;
Comply with health and safety and quality standards at all times;
Perform any other related tasks;

Skills We Are Looking For
Very good physical condition and muscular strength (lifting equipment is used to handle parts, but the abrasive blasting hose is heavy and the abrasive blasting generates significant force);
High school diploma completed (an asset);
Valid forklift driving card (an asset);
