Job Summary and Main Responsabilities

The assembler installs the components and seals on the wall valve and ensures the good performance of the product. Its tasks include:

  • Read and interpret manufacturing plans;
  • Assemble the metal parts of the valves and the seals;
  • Carry out leak tests;
  • Operate lifting equipment;
  • Move the pieces using a cart;
  • Inspect the produced parts visually to validate their quality and conformity

Also, tasks may include:

  • Sort the parts upon receipt;
  • Maintain materials inventory;
  • Pack the pieces once assembled;
  • All other related tasks

Know-How Required

  • Communication skills, leadership and good team spirit;
  • Good ability to adapt in a context of continuous improvement;
  • Good physical condition (the loads to be lifted can sometimes reach 40 pounds);
  • Intellectual curiosity;
  • Versatility and autonomy

 

Skills We Are Looking For

  • Completed high school diploma (an asset);
  • Experience in reading plans;
  • Valid forklift driving license (an asset)
