Job Summary and Main Responsabilities
The assembler installs the components and seals on the wall valve and ensures the good performance of the product. Its tasks include:
- Read and interpret manufacturing plans
- Assemble the metal parts of the valves and the seals
- Carry out leak tests
- Operate lifting equipment
- Move parts using a lift
- Visually inspect the parts produced to validate their quality and compliance
Also, tasks may include:
- Sort the parts upon receipt
- Maintain inventory of materials
- Pack the parts once assembled
- All other related tasks
Know-How Required
- High school diploma (an asset)
- Plan reading experience
- Valid forklift driving license (an asset)
Skills We Are Looking For
- Communication skills, leadership and good team spirit
- Good ability to adapt in a context of continuous improvement
- Good physical condition (the loads to be lifted can sometimes reach 40 pounds)
