Job Summary and Main Responsabilities

The welder carries out the assembly and welding of the stainless steel parts of our wall valves. On occasion, he also collaborates in assembly. Its tasks include:
• Read and interpret manufacturing plans;
• Assemble and weld the different parts using MIG;
• Operate lifting equipment and tools used to shape the parts to be assembled;
• Inspect the produced parts, visually and using measuring instruments, in order to validate their quality and conformity;
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times

Skills We Are Looking For

  • Vocational studies diploma in welding or welding-assembly;
  • Experience in MIG welding;
  • Experience in welding with stainless steel (an asset);
  • Experience in reading plans;
  • Valid forklift driving license (an asset);
  • Communication skills, leadership and good team spirit;
  • Good physical condition (the loads to be lifted can sometimes reach 40 pounds);
  • Versatility and autonomy.
