The Welder, Aluminum Specialist, understands and interprets drawings, and is able to carry out both assembly and welding responsibilities for the various types of parts we produce. All with a minimum of supervision.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Welding and assembling various aluminum parts using TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW);
Read and interpret fabrication drawings;
Very good understanding of welding parameters and their effect;
Inspect produced parts, visually and using measuring instruments, to validate quality and conformity;
Operate welding robot and perform basic handling;
Operate lifting equipment and tools used to shape parts to be assembled;
Maintain and promote a clean and safe work environment at all times;
Perform all other related tasks.

Skills We Are Looking For
Diploma of vocational studies in welding or welding and fitting;
Experience as an aluminum welder;
Experience in TIG and MIG welding (GTAW, GMAW);
Experience in plan reading;
Experience using welding robots (asset);
Experience with lifting equipment (asset).

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime. 40-hour schedule in 4 1/2 days (ending at 11:00 on Fridays);
